Today at our site we have been turning up the heat and had all the live action of the deep cleaning biomass boiler!
Our trained in-house engineers were hard at work carrying out the cleaning and inspection of our onsite boiler; who have been precisely preparing for the past week for this operation.
The boiler on our site wood chips for it to function-taken from site clearances. This allows us to produce renewable energy and a sustainable solution to enable our site to run in an environmentally and efficient way.
The process of a clean down takes all in all seven working days, as the power needs to be shut off and the equipment needs to cool down, before carrying out the full clean and inspection. This process includes full glass bead blasting and a deep clean of all chambers; with complete removal of ash bringing it back to clean bricks and metal work. The deep clean down and inspection is a vital part of the operation of a boiler, as it allows the engineers to see if there are any problems, internal damages or potential faults.
If you are interest in looking into a biomass boiler or require a service; we can design, install and operate it on your site for a period of up to 20 years; replacing your fossil fuel energy supply. When the installation is complete we will operate, maintain, service and fuel it for the duration of the agreed period. We will secure the finance to install the system and will supply heat and/or power to the site. By contracting us to fund and manage your project you’re selecting a partner with the know-how and experience to run it productively throughout the lifetime of the system.
Here at SDL Solutions we offer a full range of services including: service engineering; boiler cleaning; ash collection; thermal insulation for industrial installations e.g. steam, hot water and hot oil piping and industrial boiler insulation.
