This case study explains material traceability across the SDL Group, showing how timber, chipwood, site clearance arisings, sawmill residues and arboricultural material are sorted, graded and routed to the right end use. From sawlog to sawmilling, from lop and top to CHP fuel, and from clean chip to wood pellet feedstock, each stream has a defined route designed to protect value, maintain quality and support traceability across the wider business.
